We have developed a freely accessible cost-effective transmitter/receiver pair operating at 868 MHz with a functional range of 500 meters in open space. The system offers a variety of solutions. For example, our PPO 868 Water Leak Detection System can be used for monitoring water-using devices in case of water leakage.
PPO 868 Mhz Wireless Water Leak Alarm System
PPO 868 MHz Wireless Water Leak Alarm System can be used in old and new properties. Water Leak Detector can be used for monitoring water using devices in case of water leakage. Monitored devices can be for example dishwasher, washing machine, electric water heater or plumbing manifold. The device can be also used as repeater to expand the range of transmission.

Example: The Water Leak Detector gets an alarm and sends the information to the PPO 868 Master witch can send the information along to a janitor via a GSM-modem.

PPO 868 MHz FIRE Wireless Fire Alarm System
PPO 868 FIRE master unit can be used for ID-configured fire alarm system. The system circuit includes fire heat detectors, sensors, fire buttons, sirens and emergency power source. Communication between devices can be accomplished with PPO 868 FIRE Transmitter/Receiver pair. Functional range is 500 meters in open space. Detectors operate with 9V battery. Battery operation time is approximately one year.
Information transmitted from fire detectors:
- Fire alarm
- No connectivity error
- Low battery alarm
Fire buttons and fire alarms can be wired inside the circuit of the fire zone and the information can be sent to PPO 868 FIRE master unit with one radio transmitter, in this case a backup power supply must be used for the detection units in the circuit, and the ID code information comes from the overall wired circuit.
Fire alarm control panel can be used to transfer alarm or error information which can then be relayed via GSM modem to the local fire department or the buildings custodian. When backup power source is used, information is transmitted even when the main current is disconnected. The unit has 72 hour autonomy period. Sirens can be controlled remotely with the PPO 868 Fire receiver. Sirens must also be connected to the backup power source.
